Côte d’Ivoire : le procès de Charles Blé Goudé, reporté

Abidjan, 18-12-2019 (AfrikMonde.com) Le procès de l’ex-ministre de la Jeunesse, prévue pour se tenir ce mercredi, n’aura finalement pas lieu à cette date.Son report, selon le site Rfi est  dû à l’action de son avocat, qui continue à suivre la procédure.

En effet, à en croire ce site un avocat de la défense a déposé un pourvoi en cassation contre l’arrêt de renvoi de l’ancien ministre ivoirien de la Jeunesse devant les juges. Son procès devait s’ouvrir dans la journée de mercredi, mais il a été reporté sine die. Un report surtout dû à l’action de son avocat, le dernier qui continue à suivre la procédure.

En effet, la semaine dernière, le juriste a formé un pourvoi en cassation contre l’arrêt de la Cour d’appel d’Abidjan, qui a décidé le mois dernier de renvoyer son client devant les juges, aux motifs que la procédure en cours se fait en violation des droits de monsieur Blé Goudé. C’est le motif avancé par son avocat pour justifier son pourvoi en cassation.

C’est maintenant à la Cour de cassation de décider si l’ancien ministre de la Jeunesse ira devant le tribunal criminel ou non. Il faut dire que depuis le début, les avocats de la défense dénoncent le déroulement de la procédure en cours. Ils estiment qu’elle ne respecte pas les droits fondamentaux de Charles Blé Goudé et que même le procès est illégal.

Ambitions politiques

Pour les avocats, la justice ivoirienne ne peut poursuivre Blé Goudé, déjà acquitté en première instance par la CPI en janvier dernier. En guise de réponse, le Procureur général de la Cour d’appel, Marie-Léonard Lebry, explique que les cas incriminés, à savoir notamment torture, viol, homicide volontaire, ne sont pas les mêmes que ceux jugés à La Haye.

Du côté du COJEP, le Congrès panafricain pour la Justice et l’Egalité des Peuples – le parti que préside Charges Blé Goudé – on dénonce un procès politique, une justice aux ordres.

Charles Blé Goudé est poursuivi par la justice ivoirienne pour actes de torture, homicides volontaires et viol. Des fait qui remontent aux années 2010-2011, à l’époque où le pays traversait une crise poste électorale qui a causé la mort de plus de  3000 personnes.
