Côte d’Ivoire : la fondation YEELEN offre de la joie aux pensionnaires de la pouponnière de Dabou

29-12-2019 (AfrikMonde) Accompagnée de plusieurs membres de la fondation YEELEN, la présidente Sarah Koffi D., a effectué une visite à la pouponnière de Dabou, le samedi 28 décembre 2019.  Fidèle à l’engagement de son organisation à accompagner les pensionnaires de cet établissement d’accueil d’enfants en situation de handicap, elle est arrivée à Dabou avec plusieurs dons en vivres et non-vivres.

« C’est toujours un plaisir renouvelé pour nous d’être aux côtés de ces enfants que nous adorons tant. Nous sommes très heureuses de partager la joie débordante qu’ils manifestent à l’occasion de chaque rencontre », a indiqué la présidente de la fondation YEELEN, avant de rassurer ses hôtes que la fondation sera toujours avec eux.

Pour témoigner leur reconnaissance à la délégation hôte, les poupons l’ont gratifié d’un ballet retraçant l’histoire culturelle de la Côte d’Ivoire. Mieux, ils ont fait preuve de leur savoir-faire en offrant une lampe faite à partir du matériau trouvé par eux. La symbolique de cette lampe est de contribuer à faire briller davantage la lumière de la fondation YEELEN.

La Directrice de la pouponnière de Dabou, Ouattara Korotoumou, a traduit, au nom de la communauté des pensionnaires et des encadreurs, la reconnaissance des pensionnaires à l’endroit des dirigeants de la fondation et particulièrement à sa présidente qui a décidé de les placer au cœur de ses priorités. « Fasse Dieu que vous ayez toujours la force de nous aider à encadrer ces mômes», a-t-elle loué.

La visite des membres de la fondation YEELEN s’est poursuivie dans les dortoirs. Tous se sont alors rendus compte des efforts réalisés par l’équipe de la Directrice de l’établissement, en vue d’assurer le minimum vital aux enfants en situation de handicap.
