Abidjan, 23-11-2019 (AfrikMonde.com) Le lancement des travaux de bitumage de l’axe Zouhan-Hounien- Danané (46 Km), et Man-Danané (79 Km) annoncé par le premier ministre, lors d’une visite dans le Tonkpi en octobre dernier, est rentré dans sa phase active, le vendredi 22 novembre 2019. En effet, le ministre de l’Equipement et de l’entretien routier, Amédée Kouakou Koffi a donné le coup d’envoi desdits travaux.

Représentant le Premier ministre Amadou Gon Coulibaly, le ministre en charge de l’Equipement et de l’entretien routier a expliqué que ces travaux répondent au respect de l’engagement du Chef du gouvernement de rester dans le temps de l’action, afin d’assurer avec célérité, la mise en œuvre du plan national de développement. Avec à ses côtés les ministres, Mabri Toikeusse, Adama Bictogo et Konaté Sidiki, le premier responsable des infrastructures routières a souligné que ce bitumage redonnera un éclat à la région et une vie aux activités entre les départements et la frontière. Dans la foulée, il a annoncé que 5 km de bitume seront réalisés à l’intérieur de Danané et de Zouhan-Hounien dans le cadre de ce projet, avant d’insister sur l’entretien de ces routes pour leur longévité

Aux populations, le Ministre Albert Mabri Toikeusse, par ailleurs président du Conseil régional du Tonkpi a dit sa gratitude au président Alassane Ouattara pour avoir mis fin aux souffrances liées à l’état des routes dans le Tonkpi. Précisons que L’axe Man-Danané coûtera 30,800 milliards de Fcfa et celui de Danané-Zouhan-Hounien 19,300 milliards FCFA. Le délai d’exécution des travaux est de 24 mois. Somme toute,  ce projet permettra l’amélioration des conditions de vies des populations, l’accroissement et la fluidité du trafic routier, le développement des agglomérations traversées, l’opportunité d’amélioration et diversification des activités socio-économiques, la facilitation de la recherche scientifique dans les réserves de l’Ouest, le développement de l’écotourisme dans la zone, la fluidité du trafic et facilitation de l’accès aux équipements de base, et la redynamisation de la biodiversité induite par l’amélioration de l’hydraulique.
