22-1-2020 (AfrikMonde.com) La levée de l’immunité parlementaire de l’ancien président de l’Assemblée Nationale, Guillaume Soro, et de 5 députés proches de lui était au centre des intérêts le mercredi 22 janvier 2020, à la maison du parti à Cocody lors d’une conférence de presse co-animée par des députés issus des groupes parlementaires Pdci-Rda, Vox Populi et Rassemblement.

Ceux-ci ont dénoncé le caractère illégal de la levée de l’immunité parlementaire de ces députés qui, selon eux, s’est faite de façon cavalière en foulant aux pieds la réglementation en vigueur. A juste raison d’ailleurs, ils ont demandé la suspension des poursuites contre l’ancien président de l’Assemblée nationale et les 5 députés proches de lui.

« L’arrêté du Bureau de l’Assemblée Nationale portant levée de l’immunité parlementaire de six (06) députés a visé la Constitution ivoirienne et le Règlement de l’Assemblée Nationale, alors qu’aucune disposition de ces lois ne permet d’agir comme l’a fait le Groupe Parlementaire RHDP » a relevé l’honorable Yasmina Ouégnin de Vox Populi.

Selon le député de Cocody, en effet, l’immunité parlementaire des députés ivoiriens est traitée par les articles 45 à 49 du Règlement de l’Assemblée Nationale. Dès lors, elle estime que l’arrêté portant levée de l’immunité parlementaire des six députés est nul parce que mal fondé et illégal.
